Tampa water restrictions relaxed to twice weekly

TAMPA— Beginning Tuesday, Tampa residents may water their lawns twice a week again, the Tampa Water Department announced Monday morning.

Irrigation by users of the city system, well or surface water will be allowed before 8 a.m. or after 6 p.m. on days based on the user's address:

• People with address numbers ending in 0-3 may irrigate on Mondays and Thursdays.

• People with address numbers ending in 4-6 may irrigate on Tuesdays and Fridays.

• People with any other address may irrigate on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

More information about the restrictions is available from the Tampa Water Department.
