It has been a few days since we've had a video of a giant alligator. So we were glad to see this amazing Facebook post on Friday.

Bill Pruitt of St. Pete Beach Photo posted this video of a gator stalking two sandhill cranes on the ChampionsGate golf course near Orlando on Friday.

"It frightened me," Pruitt said Friday evening. "It was at least 10 feet. I'm 6-2, and he was twice the size of me."

Pruitt said he was preparing to chip his golf ball onto the green when his golfing partner said, "Look at this."

The gator wandered up onto the bank of a lake and stayed there until Pruitt finished his shot.

The alligator then started after walking. You can hear Pruitt exclaim "holy cow!" on the video.

"He walked across the green following the birds. He walked right where my ball was," Pruitt said.

One person commented on the post, "I thought he was going to have those birds for dinner.. Lol."

Another wrote, "Those are some seriously nonchalant sandhill cranes."
