OLDSMAR — A Tampa Bay gator found itself down in the gutters or, well, the storm drain, in a residential neighborhood, according to a video posted to Facebook on Monday.

John Ruel was on scene as trappers had to tug the alligator out of the drain — not exactly something the reptile welcomed.

Ruel posted that it was "not something you see everyday in the neighborhood."

It took a few tugs, but the video shows the trapper finally pulling the alligator free.

Ruel guessed the gator was about 9 feet long and said the trapper told him it would not be euthanized.
