Fourth of July closings

The following will be closed Wednesday, unless otherwise noted.

Government, Courts

Federal, state and county offices.

Courts

Federal courts, state courts and county courts.

Buses and Streetcars

HART and HARTplus will operate on a Saturday schedule. The TECO Line Streetcar System will run from noon to 11 p.m.

Malls

International Plaza, WestShore Plaza, Westfield Citrus Park, Westfield Brandon and University Mall close at 6 p.m. (Department store and restaurant hours may vary.)

Garbage

The residential collection schedule for the city of Tampa will not be affected. Temple Terrace and the Hillsborough County Solid Waste Management Department will not have garbage collection or recycling pickup. Temple Terrace customer pickup will resume on the next scheduled day, and county customers can set out twice as much garbage the next scheduled day.

Utilities

Tampa Electric and Peoples Gas offices.

Post offices, mail

Post offices; no mail delivery.

Libraries

All public libraries.

Schools

Hillsborough County public schools, Hillsborough Community College, University of Tampa and University of South Florida.

Banks

Most banks.

Attractions, museums

The Tampa Museum of Art will be open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Florida Aquarium will be open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Busch Gardens will be open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Lowry Park Zoo will be open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Glazer Children's Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Museum of Science and Industry will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Recreation

All recreation centers and playgrounds are closed but regional parks will be open.
