The Tampa Bay Times food section is seeking recipes for its 11th annual Christmas cookie issue, published Nov. 28.
We want all kinds of recipes: bars, drops and cutouts; with nuts and without; iced, plain and sprinkled; gingerbread, peppermint and chocolate. If your cookie comes with a heartwarming story, send that, too. We'll try something different this year and include some recipes that cater to dietary issues. So break out those gluten-free, sugar-free or vegan cookie recipes.
We will publish two dozen of the most enticing reader recipes, all tested by the Taste section staff. Submit as many recipes as you'd like by Sept. 14 to Christmas Cookies, Taste, Tampa Bay Times, P.O. Box 1121, St. Petersburg, FL 33731. Include your name, city and daytime phone number. Recipes also may be emailed to features@tampabay.com. Put COOKIES in the subject line. Please don't send original recipe cards; due to the volume of submissions, we can't return them.
