Easter is on Sunday and a safer-at-home order means local businesses are suffering. What to do? How about compiling Easter baskets for your family using the goods of local businesses that offer curbside delivery or shipping.

Shipping, porch delivery or curbside pickup is available. We have included websites, but Facebook is probably the best way to reach these businesses and have the most updated information, said Ester Venouziou, the president of Local Shops1, which provides advocacy, support and education to local independent businesses throughout the region. Small businesses are taking an especially big hit these days, so it’s possible to give them some business and have their goods shipped or delivered, she said.

Go to https://bit.ly/keepstpetelocalonlinenowmorethanever and you can download the list as a PDF file. The organization, which is urging people to shop locally before turning to Amazon, is regularly updating the list, so keep checking back.
