DIRK SHADD | Times

Elizabeth Parris of St. Petersburg holds her daughter, Nadia Clary, 3, as the toddler gives a high five to the dentist, Dr. Haychell Saraydar, after a successful dental exam Monday on Give Kids A Smile Day at the Pinellas County Health Department, 205 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N in St. Petersburg. The annual national event allows kids to receive a free dental exam and X-rays. The program also includes scheduling a second visit if procedures are needed. The county's Health Department office on Ulmerton Road in Largo participated in the program, too.
