Fifth swine flu death reported in Hillsborough County

TAMPA —Laboratory results have confirmed that a fifth person in Hillsborough county has died after contracting the H1N1 flu, the Hillsborough County Health Department reported Monday.

A 46-year-old man with underlying medical conditions died Saturday, according to a health department statement. There have been 48 laboratory confirmed H1N1, or swine flu, deaths in Florida to date.
