Free flu shots to be offered in Tampa

TAMPA — Envision Healthcare and other sponsors plan to give free flu shots to the first 350 people who show up from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Salvation Army Homeless Shelter, 1603 N Florida Ave. Envision and Pager, another health delivery service, teamed with the Children's Health Fund to offer the free shots "to the underserved population'' during National Influenza Vaccination Awareness Week.
