Program to help women de-stress

Dr. Grace Pampo, acupuncture physician, certified yoga and meditation teacher and stress and pain management consultant, will offer a "Women's Night For Discussion and De-Stressing" from 7 to 8 p.m. Nov. 19 at 613 S Missouri Ave., Clearwater.

At this evening for women only, Pampo will focus on guided yoga and meditation techniques as well as guided discussion to minimize stress.

No fee; class is on a donation basis.

A program on improving the chemotherapy and radiation experience for patients will be from 5-6 p.m. today at Powell Cancer Center, 303 Pinellas St., Clearwater.

A Morton Plant Mease health care professional will discuss doctors and support teams, explain what cancer is, outline four ways of treating cancer and provide tips on how to get through treatments and how to manage side effects.
