ST. PETERSBURG — A 38-year-old woman became Pinellas County's 11th swine flu fatality, according to the county health department.

It was unclear whether the woman had pre-existing health conditions or not.

As of Nov. 3, there have been 149 confirmed H1N1 (swine) flu fatalities reported in Florida. Of those, 20.8 percent had no underlying health conditions. Swine flu was first detected in people in the United States in April 2009.

The Pinellas County Health Department has suspended swine flu immunizations in its clinics until further notice because of limited supplies. The immunizations for the public will resume once vaccine supplies have arrived, according to department officials.
