39 centenarians break 'Guinness' record in Clearwater

Centenarians and their family members, friends and caregivers gathered Thursday for Suncoast Hospice's fifth annual Celebration of Life party in Clearwater. On what was already a special day, Suncoast Hospice noted that they topped Guinness World Records' citation for most centenarians at one gathering during the event, with 39 honored guests enjoying the day with sing-alongs and snacks. The Guinness record had been 31. The party was held at the Roosevelt Community Service Center.
