More than 100 people attended the 2013 ecumenical service hosted by the NAACP in remembrance of the life and work of civil rights leader the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. "We've been doing this for a good number of years now and take the memorial ceremony to a different church every year," said co-organizer Evelyn Hackney of the NAACP. This year, the service was held Sunday at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Spring Hill.
