Urban Horticulture Agent Jim Moll of the Hernando County Cooperative Extension Service will discuss how pesticides work and how to choose the correct product for particular pest problem. Senior Health and Fitness Day: 9 a.m. to noon, Hernando County Family YMCA, 1300 Mariner Blvd. The free community event will include complimentary medical screenings, giveaways and massages. Screenings available include vision, postural, manual balance assessment, strength assessment, cholesterol and glucose, healthy-leg screenings and foot detox.
