"They say you have problems with children in their teenage years, but that certainly was not the case with Jonathan.''

Jackie Godfrey O'Neill, whose son, Army Spec. Jonathan O'Neill, died from injuries sustained in Afghanistan. He was a 2004 Zephyrhills High School grad.

"We're very normal, but we've got this strange side to us where we love Halloween.''

Lisa Morgan, who dressed as a vampire to get married to Brad Nicola, who dressed as Beetlejuice. They met while working at Busch Gardens' Howl-O-Scream spook fest.

School Board member Cathi Martin, after a last-minute illness caused her to miss a Florida School Boards Association meeting in Tampa. Martin, dogged by chronic absences, was asked to return the $195 registration fee.

"It's in God's hands now. If I stay angry, it's going to be hard for me. I forgive them. It's up to God to do what he's going to do.''

Denean Ford, whose mother, Geraldine Ford, was killed after being struck on U.S. 19 by two vehicles that left the scene.

"It's an extraordinary case. To have an actual sign in your workplace that encourages sexual harassment is unprecedented, and very troubling.''

Ryan D. Barack, an attorney for Jessica Lee English of Zephyrhills, who sued Cross Environmental Services Inc., saying she was subjected to frequent crude sexual behavior.

"I'm not going to argue with my board in the press.''

Schools superintendent Heather Fiorentino regarding her silence at a School Board meeting where some board members wanted an explanation for her recent firing of key employees.

"You have a right to come in and do what you have to do and do your job correctly and make a clean sweep. Her hands were tied when she came in. So she now did her job and did it right … You will be surprised to see how many people in Pasco County do support this lady.''
