Brooksville

Brooksville Elks Lodge 2582: Fourth of July celebration for members and guests, 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, 14494 Cortez Blvd. The menu includes chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, corn on the cob and dessert. Tickets are $7. No reserved seating. Debbie Magill, (352) 596-1994.

Hernando Beach

Hernando Beach Club: The club offers dinner at 6:30 p.m. Fridays. The cost is $10 for members, $12 for guests; reservations required by Wednesday. Games night, 6:30 p.m. the first and third Monday of the month. Bar bingo is offered at 4 p.m. various Sundays. Hernando Beach Yacht Club: Dinner and the Homer Noodleman Show, July 25. Social hour at 5 p.m.; dinner at 6 p.m., which includes salad, baked ham, potatoes, vegetable and dessert. The show will start at 7:30 p.m. Noodleman is a comedian, vocalist, magician, impressionist and ventriloquist. Dress code is nice casual (no shorts). Nature Coast Decorative Artists: 9 a.m. Saturday, Weeki Wachee Senior Citizens Center, 3357 Susan Drive. The project is a floor cloth in acrylics, taught by Darlene Derr. A program on fly fishing in Florida waters will be presented by Russ Hampton. Also, free fly tying classes have begun for members.
