LUTZ — For more than a month, Kimberly and Alan Whitehill watched and worried over the depression in their back yard. It was 1 inch deep in April, then knee-deep earlier this week.
"We knew something was going to happen," said Kimberly Whitehill, 38.
They found out what at 5 a.m. Thursday.
"You know when you hear the shuttle, the sonic boom?" she said. "That's what it sounded like."
The Whitehills discovered a sinkhole 30-feet wide and nearly as deep. The shed housing their printing business dangled over one side. The corner of their back porch dangled over the other. The "Wipe your paws" doormat had tumbled to the watery bottom.
The Whitehills hastily moved more than a ton of printing equipment from their shed to their garage. The family's insurers urged them to temporarily move out of the house.
A geologist, meanwhile, told the Whitehills that last year's drought could have helped cause the hole.
Sinkholes often occur when the underground limestone bedrock collapses, leaving only groundwater supporting the soil above. The water support disappears when drought lowers the water table, and the ground gives way.
"He said this has been happening an extremely long time," Kimberly Whitehill said.
Engineers ordered the Whitehills' sinkhole filled with dirt, and the first load arrived about 4:45 Friday. The dump truck driver peered into the sinkhole.
"Three to four loads!'' she said, glancing up at a worker. "We need help, don't we?"

I live very close to where this occurred. And must say that I do not agree with Evelyn Sod. Although I have laid some Sod in my day, I think the sinkholes are a natural phenomenom.

Many people are afraid to accept this truth... we are not alone on this planet; and the sinkholes are just the tip of the iceberg. Speaking of which, icebergs often house these crafts as well. Oh, and the northern lights are remnants of their exhaust

Consider this sinkhole explanation ?
Though some sink holes are caused by careless deeds of people, or maybe other natural and explainable causes ? many of the circular sinkholes occur because of a solid object that was once there in no longer in place ? many Ancient Crafts having long since settled undetected below surface? are now of a quickened acceleration, have simply vanished from one place to appear in a higher place ?.
Many people would be surprised to know ?. just how much UFOs and other Ancient Celestial Objects are associated with some of Earth?s so called natural disasters ? and surprised even more so when the frequency veil surrounding this planet is totally dissolved ? proof is in the pudding ? we just haven?t received our due portion of the pudding ? not just yet ?
Some Ancient Crafts drained of their ?plasma cores? had long since settled just beneath earth?s surface, some had settled very deep below surface ?. The bigger the craft or object once settled, the b
