The gaffes Sarah Palin made during her Katie Couric interview had a silver lining because it reduced expectations for her debate performance. When she managed to hold her own — though she wasn't terribly substantive — some people raved.

But Joe Biden made his points and it was at best a draw. Palin delivered about what I expected from a former broadcaster turned governor, but I'm struck by how her "Joe Six-Pack" persona is so similar to the 2000 version of George W. Bush. …

The other nine (in no particular order): Lee Roy Selmon, Vinny Lecavalier, Warren Sapp, Derrick Brooks, Carl Crawford, Martin St. Louis, Rodney Marsh, Gary Anderson and Babe Zaharias. …

As a Bucs fan, I guess I should be rooting for Sapp to win Dancing With the Stars, but I'm pulling for Susan Lucci.

After watching All My Children for 30 years, I not only want to her win, I want to meet her.

That's all I'm saying.
