Ivanka Ska is the driving force behind Friday evening's Artist Invasion at Williams Park because she longs to bring new life to the downtown St. Petersburg park.

Ska will use the event to showcase the park and other artists and designers such as Jessie Rubin, known for her well-tailored yet funky style.

Did we mention Rubin is 13?

"I love to host her in my shop," Ska said of her young ingenue. "She's stuck with it and because of her family that supports her, she has a great career ahead of her."
