Emily Nelson, left, and Ava Munro, both 5-year-old kindergarteners, jump rope at Bryant Elementary School in northwest Hillsborough County early Thursday morning. The school is sponsoring its annual Jump Rope For Heart fundraiser, and students are jumping in honor of art teacher Chan Bliss, who underwent quadruple bypass surgery on Christmas Eve. All of the money raised will go to the American Heart Association. Bryant Elementary's students have the distinction of having raised the most money in Florida for the past three years.
