Award will honor orchestra supporter

Dr. John Hamilton will receive the 44th annual Golden Baton Award at a dinner cosponsored by the Florida Orchestra Guild and the Museum of Fine Arts at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the museum, 255 Beach Drive NE, St. Petersburg. Senator's wife will speak at luncheon

Hadassah Lieberman will be the keynote speaker at the annual Health Future for Women luncheon beginning at noon Thursday in the Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon, 950 Lake Carillon Drive. Lieberman, a health-care professional and global ambassador for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, is married to Sen. Joseph Lieberman, I-Conn. Gala will benefit R'Club, arts group

R'Kid Land, a charity gala and benefit for R'Club Child Care and the Outdoor Arts Foundation, will feature food, drinks, entertainment and the auction of architect-designed children's playhouses.
