Battling for Brooksville

The 34th annual Brooksville Raid re-enactment festival concludes today at the Sand Hill Scout Reservation, 11210 Cortez Blvd., Spring Hill. Activities to be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. include an anvil shoot at 11 a.m. The 7 lbs. of Bacon Mess Band performs at 1 p.m. and the Brooksville Raid battle will be at 2. Admission is $8 for adults, $4 for youth 6 to 12 years old and free for ages 5 and younger and Scouts in uniform. Parking is free.
