DUNEDIN — Thirsty? In the mood for a frosty beverage?
You're in luck. The Dunedin House of Beer holds its second annual BeerFest on Saturday evening, and that means 70 beers will be on tap.
The taps flow from 5 to 9 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes, 750 San Salvador Drive.
"It's a big, family-friendly event," event spokeswoman Dawn Carney said. "There are bouncy houses for kids. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are allowed. There are places to sit down and eat. We have an indoor area to go if it rains."
Music will be provided by the Black Honkeys, a local band that specializes in Motown music.
The event benefits Dunedin Doggie Rescue, which will hold a raffle.
Tickets are $30 at the gate, $25 in advance at the House of Beer locations in Dunedin and Palm Harbor. Designated drivers get in for $5. Children under 18 get in free.
There's plenty of street parking, Carney said, or you can donate $5 to park at the church.
