Big Cat Rescue's big cats get pumpkins, pinatas as a Halloween treat

Bengali, an 18-year-old tiger, chews on a meat-filled pumpkin Thursday in his enclosure at Big Cat Rescue in Tampa. Big Cat Rescue is home to more than 100 animals, including lions, tigers, leopards and bobcats. Holiday-themed enrichment treats such as carved pumpkins filled with meat or paper-mache ghosts hanging from trees provide the big cats with mental stimulation. Like domestic cats, exotic cats are always curious about anything new and different in their environments.
