Century-old oak tree falls in Brooksville

Jason Willis trims limbs from a fallen live oak that blocked Hendricks Avenue in Brooksville on Tuesday. Part of the base of the tree had rotted, which caused it to topple. "I would say this tree is well over 100 years old. Once part of the base died it was bound to fall sooner or later," he said. Willis and his partner, John Theodore, have been doing tree work since 2004 for Theodore's company, John's Tree Trimming.
