Embracing art, fellowship

In her booth at the Cool Art Show in St. Petersburg Sunday, artist Lyn Novak Hise of Inverness, right,  hugs fellow artist Helen Dobbins and thanks her for buying an original piece of art. Hise creates beautiful mixed media pieces that involve painting on pieces of cooper. She said her father, who had an artistic streak, always used to encourage her by allowing her to finger paint on the porcelain refrigerator when she was a small child.
