Ferris wheel ride provides bird's-eye view in St. Petersburg

Jeff Forbes, 66, and his granddaughter Caroline Stowell, 7, both of St. Petersburg, get a bird's-eye view of the annual St. Paul's Catholic Church Spring Festival in St. Petersburg on Friday. The festival, which runs through Sunday, raises funds for St. Paul's Catholic School. It was Caroline's first time on a Ferris wheel, and Forbes had not been on one in 40 years, he said. "It was a great life experience riding with my granddaughter," said Forbes. "I really liked the view," Caroline said.
