First remains removed from Dozier cemetery

Times staff

MARIANNA — The first remains were removed Monday from the Arthur G. Dozier School for Boys. The remains were extracted by anthropologists from the University of South Florida.

Wet conditions meant that the team had to remove the remains still encased in dirt so that they can be dried in a laboratory setting and then examined.
