LUTZ — The funeral for retired Hillsborough County Sheriff Walter C. Heinrich is scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
A viewing will be noon to 2 p.m. at Idlewild Baptist Church, 18371 N Dale Mabry Highway, followed by a memorial service till 3 p.m., according to the Sheriff's Office.
Heinrich's interment will be immediately afterward at Garden of Memories, 4207 East Lake Ave., Tampa.
Heinrich, who served as sheriff for 14 years until 1992, died Monday at his home. He was 83.
