Hair-raising experience at the Dalí Museum

DIRK SHADD | Times

Wearing her Dalí mustache, Maya Kapileshwari, 5, makes funny faces along with Shaleen Miller during Storytime for Families on Thursday morning at the Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg. Maya and her family were visiting from Sugar Land, Texas. About a dozen kids and parents were present for this week's event. Dalí family programs coordinator Vicki Brunner read to the group a book titled Dalí and the Path of Dreams, a children's book by Anna Obiols and illustrated by Subi. Storytime for Families is held at 11:15 a.m. every Thursday at the museum during the summer and expands with more times and days during the school year.
