Brooksville Book Discussion Group: 6 p.m. Aug. 15, Lykes Memorial Library, 238 Howell Ave. The book to be discussed is South of Broad: A Novel, by Pat Conroy. Set in Charleston, S.C., Leo King and a unique group of high school friends from the 1960s remain connected for more than two decades, sharing tragedy, friendships, loyalty and cultural events of the time.
