The event features DJ Marty "The One Man Party." There will be a contest for the best 1970s attire. Light refreshments will be served. Beer and wine will be available. 'God Belongs in My City' Antigang and Antidrug Rally: The event, hosted by Jesus Cares Ministries, will include hundreds of youths marching down various streets in Spring Hill to make a declaration against drugs and gangs. Florida State Forests 75th Anniversary Celebration: The celebration will include oral and photo histories of the Withlacoochee State Forest, as well as forest management, fire control and recreation displays. Amateur Radio Field Day with Hernando County Amateur Radio Association: The Hernando County Amateur Radio Association will participate in field day activities, emphasizing radio operator communication skills and efficiency under emergency conditions. Amateur Radio Field Day with Spring Hill Amateur Radio Club: This is an annual 24-hour event starting at 2 p.m. and continuing through 2 p.m. Sunday to display emergency communications skills. The Spring Hill club's station will use power from solar cells, storage batteries and portable generators. Local hams will demonstrate their short- and long-range emergency communication capabilities, using Morse Code, as well as newer voice and digital methods. St. Frances Cabrini Knights of Columbus Summer Fun Bar-B-Q Buffet and Dance: This will be a country and western-themed event. Music from the 1950s through today will be provided by Larry Greer.
