Kentucky colonel presented:

At the Timber Pines Country Club, David Harvey, a local businessman, was recently presented with the official Kentucky colonel certificate by Nick Morana, a retired Army colonel and a Kentucky colonel since 1980. Morana submitted a recommendation to Kentucky Gov. Steven L. Beshear on behalf of Harvey's volunteer work organizing charity events to benefit the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Relay for Life, Wounded Warrior and Toys for Tots over the past 20 years. The Kentucky colonel is the highest honor awarded by the commonwealth of Kentucky.
