Spring Hill senior softball results

The Senior Softball Invitational League of Spring Hill began its winter season Oct. 1. The league is for players 50 and older. This year's teams include: Texas Roadhouse; Dr. Michael Higgins/Moose Lodge 521, Dr. William Chaney/American Legion Post 186, Interventional Pain Institute of West Florida , and Rookies Sports Bar and Grill/Spring Hill Draft House.

Recent results:

Oct. 1: Dr. Chaney/American Legion, 9, Interventional Pain, 8; Texas Roadhouse, 20, Rookies/Draft House, 8.

Oct. 3: Texas Roadhouse, 18, Dr. Chaney/American Legion, 16; Dr. Higgins/Moose Lodge, 13, Rookies/Draft House, 12.

Oct. 4: Dr. Higgins/Moose Lodge, 16, Interventional Pain, 11.

The league plays tournament-type softball on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at Veterans Memorial Park, 12254 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill. For information, call Ficarra at (352) 688-1605.
