Gulfside’s Hike for Hospice 5K Run raises $56,000: Gulfside’s Hike for Hospice 5K Run got off to a good start on Nov. 10 at Rasmussen College in Land O’Lakes. Taking part were 173 runners in the 5K Run, the most since the event was added three years ago. Close to 600 hikers walked or ran in memory or honor of loved ones. More than $56,000 was committed to the hospice. “Hike for Hospice is designed to celebrate and honor the lives of friends and family members,” said Linda Ward, president and CEO of Gulfside Regional Hospice.
