Hospital honors service award recipients: Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point recently presented service awards to employees for their years of service.

Employees recognized for 30 years of service were Jeannine Biren, Helen Cook, Arlene Huber and Karline Upton. Recognized for 25 years of service were Patti Bowie, Ruth Cound, Annette Nieratko, Larry Peterson and Ralph Uzzi. Recognized for 20 years of service were Barbara Amaya, Gloria Bellamy, Brenda Buck, Judy Butler, Deborah Fluke, Carrie Green, Thelma Guthrie, Carol Joseph, Shae Jungkans, Helen Machie, Georgia Martin, Edith Rowson, Pamela Schlicher, Caroline Tibbett, Karen Whitsell and Lisa Zielinski.

Recognized for 15 years of service were Catherine Balestrieri, Bernard Basile, Robert Cowen, Lucie Doyle, Aaron Fremmer, Jeff Hart, Susan Marten, Theresa Mundy, David Philps, Mary Reynolds, Jennifer Torro, Tracy Williams and Christina Wininger.

The hospital also recognized many employees for 10 and five years of service.

PHSC staff honored: Pasco-Hernando State College recently announced its recipients of the annual National Institute of Staff and Organizational Development Excellence Awards.

The 2014 honorees include Rene Brioso, assistant professor, information technology programs, East Campus in Dade City; Shirley Cherry, associate professor, mathematics, East Campus in Dade City; Patricia Garcia, assistant professor of nursing, North Campus in Brooksville, and Burt Harres, Ph.D., vice president of instruction/provost, West Campus in New Port Richey.
