Local gymnast wins big 
at state meet: Members of Lakewood Ranch Gymnastics’ Level 8 gymnastics team recently won the team title during the annual USA Gymnastics Level 8 Florida State meet in Fort Myers. In addition, team member Daijsa Green, 10, of Wesley Chapel received first-place awards in her age division in the all-around and vault competitions. She now is ranked second in the state for Level 8 and 21st in the nation. Green will advance to the USAG regionals in Alabama as one of eight gymnasts to represent Florida.
