Lawyers for Literacy bowl-a-thon; Abilities' wine tasting; sorority's 'Harlem Nights'

Lawyers bowl to help students' reading skills

Lawyers for Literacy will present a fundraising bowl-a-thon from noon to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Sunrise Lanes, 6393 Dr. Martin Luther King St. N, St. Petersburg. The event includes bowling, equipment, food, drink and tutor appreciation awards. $50. Email [email protected]; (727) 323-4020.

Wine tasting event

Raymond James presents the 23rd annual Abilities Wine Tasting at the Armed Forces History Museum, 2050 34th Way N, Largo, on Saturday, a benefit for returning veterans. 'Harlem Nights'

The Zeta Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and the Youth Development Foundation of Pinellas County will host "Harlem Nights," a June 8 gala at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront, 333 First St. S.
