Memorial fund set for daughter of couple dead in Skyway horror

LAKELAND — A memorial fund has been set up for the daughter of Sheryl Partington Laird, the woman killed by her ex-husband before he jumped from the Sunshine Skyway on Tuesday.

The 7-year-old girl is now in the care of Laird's parents, who live in Lakeland. Checks can be given to the Midflorida Credit Union in Lakeland, made out to the Midflorida Credit Union c/o Memorial for the Child of Sheryl Partington Laird.
