Regent community center set to open this weekend in riverview
The long-awaited Regent opens this weekend behind Winthrop Town Centre in Riverview.
The new community center, 6437 Watson Road, is the product of a five-year, multimillion-dollar project formerly known as the Brandon Community Advantage Center.
With its 10,000-square-foot ballroom, the center aims to be the Brandon area's main destination for grand dinners and galas. It also holds several Hillsborough Community College classrooms and a 3,400-square-foot meeting space on its ground floor.
