The St. Anthony's Hospital Auxiliary will celebrate its 60th annual "Diamond Jubilee" luncheon and fashion show beginning at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club, 11 Central Ave. The event will feature clothing from Chico's and Sacino's and will raise money to buy new and updated equipment at the hospital. $50. Wolfgang Puck to the rescue for Chefs' Gala

A change of plans for the Chefs' Gala evening at the Club at Treasure Island on Friday: Wolfgang Puck will substitute for Nobu Matsuhisa, who canceled because of a personal matter; Puck and Scott Conant are the celebrity chefs who will participate in the fundraiser for the Edwards Foundation beginning at 7 p.m. Friday at the club, 400 Treasure Island Causeway. Money goes to help struggling local families and their children each December. Nobu restaurant's executive chef and staff will help in the food preparation. The event is limited to 100 guests. Academy Prep hosts Breakfast of Scholars

  4. Man faces charge of abuse after 2-month-old injured


    ZEPHYRHILLS — A 2-month-old child was taken to All Children's Hospital with multiple skull fractures Saturday afternoon, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, and a 24-year-old man has been arrested.

    Jacob Brattain, 24, of Zephyrhills is charged with aggravated child abuse and was arrested Sunday. According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, a 2-month-old child suffered multiple skull fractures under his care.

    NEW YORK — Amazon said Monday that it received 238 proposals from cities and regions in the United States, Canada and Mexico hoping to be the home of the company's second headquarters.
