'chocolate' fundraiser SUPPORTS BALLET

A fundraiser for the Dundu Dole Urban African Ballet and the Chocolate Nutcracker is planned from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at a private home in St. Petersburg. Cookies galore at 'heist'

Christmas lunch on Snell Isle

Holiday party to help teens

Girl Friends of Brookwood Florida will host the annual holiday party to benefit the residential program for abused young women. Quiet event for mental health

"Everybody who's anybody won't be there," the invitation from Personal Enrichment Mental Health Services Florida reads. Through Dec. 24, the nonprofit is seeking contributions for its fourth annual nonevent, the "No-Show No Snow Holiday Ball," to benefit the charity's children's programs.
