A photo taken by St. Petersburg High School student J.C. Pritchett III was chosen as the centerpiece of Pinellas County's 2016 Watershed: LiveWorkPlay campaign.

The photo of two silhouetted hands in the shape of a heart in front of a sunset on St. Pete Beach was selected among others submitted by teens to portray where they live, go to school or play, and won Pritchett a canoe trip for six at Weedon Island Preserve.

The watershed outreach project was taken on by the Pinellas County Youth Advisory Committee to raise awareness about the importance of local watersheds and what residents can do to protect them.

The campaign's poster and video can be viewed at www.pinellascounty.org/watershed.
