Running for the turkey at Palm Harbor school

Twelve-year-old Sagen Pope, dressed as a turkey, is pursued by students with Palm Harbor Montessori Academy's primary and elementary school classes during the school's annual Turkey Trot and Thanksgiving Feast hosted on Friday (11/21/14) at the school in Palm Harbor. Groups of students performed songs, and other students took turns at a microphone sharing thankful thoughts with parents, teachers and classmates before the turkey trot at the school's soccer field. The event culminated with a potluck Thanksgiving feast, complete with turkey, green beans, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, sweet rolls and pumpkin pie.
