Hues of blue and white flooded the streets of Tarpon Springs during the Greek Independence Day Parade on Sunday. Dancer entertained and floats carried displays of pride. The parade, which began on Lemon Street and ended at the Sponge Docks, commemorates the Greek War of Independence (1821–32), a rebellion within the Ottoman Empire.
