St. Petersburg College's Science, Art and Math (SAM) Camp at the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art in Tarpon Springs teaches students the art and science of pigmentation, weights and balances, patterns and symmetry with the intention of bringing the concepts of art to life and to turn abstractions into reality in hands-on studios. The camp, which is staffed by state-certified teachers, culminates with a show and tell for parents where the week's projects are displayed. The camp's last session will be Monday to Friday. For information about SAM Camp, call (727) 341-3000.
