Video: Bird shatters Fort Myers man's airplane windshield mid-flight

A cockpit camera captured the dramatic moment a bird shattered a Fort Myers man's airplane windshield in mid-flight.

Video shows the bird blowing through the right windshield of Rob Weber's small craft in mid-air. Weber told reporters he was flying about 170 mph at the time the bird hit and had to duck down to avoid the rush of air while he continued to fly.

Instead of panicking, Weber calmly landed the plane and looked around for the bird, which he found between the seats behind him.
