LARGO — Pinellas sheriff's deputies were investigating an incident Friday night in which a woman was shot in the neck.
The shooting occurred Friday evening in the area of Coral Way and 135th Avenue N. The woman was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, Pinellas sheriff's officials said.
Deputies said they had a male suspect in custody.
Sheriff's officials did not release any additional information Friday night.
