Getting a bird's-eye view of the Tampa Bay area is nothing new for window washer Carlos Santiago.
Santiago of Palm Harbor began his workday Friday atop the 17-story BB&T Bank building in downtown St. Petersburg. He works for Kennedy South Services in Tampa and has been a window washer for 13 years.
The building's windows are washed twice a year, according to Santiago.
"It's a real adrenaline rush once you go over the ledge," he said. "I don't mind heights and get the best views of the area."
The job should be finished within the next few days, Santiago said.
