ST. PETERSBURG — An 18-year-old Largo man is accused of raping a teenager in August inside a home, according to police.
Javarus Matagious Spradley of 12467 134th Ave. N, then 17, picked up the 15-year-old girl near her home in Largo and drove with two others to an unidentified house in St. Petersburg, police said.
Spradley then raped the girl, who is not being identified because of the nature of the charges.
The other two men were not involved in the rape.
Spradley's DNA was found on the girl, police said.
He faces a charge of sexual battery, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and burglary. He was being held Wednesday afternoon without bail at the Pinellas County Jail.
Drug activity was known to take place at the house, the girl told police.
